As an Associate Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering critical communications in support of national security, defense, and humanitarian missions. You’ll support Senior Project Managers and lead projects of your own, from proposal to closeout — driving planning, implementation, delivery, and profitability.
This is an opportunity to learn new technology, collaborate across teams, and build meaningful customer relationships. If you have a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to push things forward and makes things happen, but you make things happen, then this role is for you.
We are considering candidates in the Long Island area, due to hybrid work schedule requirements.
Own the project lifecycle — manage assigned projects, tasks, and deliverables from proposal through completion.
Deliver excellence — ensure every project meets (and exceeds) customer expectations through strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
Build relationships that last — cultivate trust and long-term partnerships with clients, setting the stage for future collaboration.
Keep things running smoothly — organize and implement project activities, including:
Maintaining project files and documentation
Coordinating meetings, tracking action items, and ensuring timely closure
Developing and managing project schedules and milestones
Creating clear and concise status reports
Managing budgets and monitoring forecasts to ensure profitability
Lead diverse teams — inspire and guide internal staff and subcontractors to achieve project goals on time and on budget.
Collaborate across departments — partner closely with Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Operations, and Engineering to keep projects aligned and moving forward.
Stay compliant — maintain all project documentation in accordance with government regulations (FAR, DFARS, ITAR).
